Day Forty Six


"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."


For all the flaws, warts, remaining inequities and frustration in our system of government, I am still overwhelmed at the sound of the national anthem, warmed by the sight of our flag and deeply grateful that I am an American.  Happy birthday to the United States of America.


Even on the fourth of July I have to keep getting rid of things.  So today's offerings are:
