Day Thirteen

Feeling very fortunate today as I got to attend a Women's Summit with 1,600 wonderful, committed, caring women and  Michelle Obama was the keynote speaker and if that wasn't cool enough I did it with my Misty, making it all the more special.  I'm so very grateful for my life and my friends, many of whom I got to see today.  One friend is also close to retiring and mentioned she knows a couple of other women in the same boat.  She suggested we meet once a month for coffee to discuss all the options, information, dreams that we're sharing.  Sounds like a good idea to me.  Everything is a design challenge and the more information you have to incorporate into the design process the better as far as I'm concerned.  Nobody can ever accuse me of rushing into this project, I gave my seven year notice at work six years ago.  Really.  Another friend who is close to retiring will be moving all the way across the country to New York.  Exciting times.

Today I let go of:

1.  A silver giraffe
2.  Sparkling body powder
3.  Dog training system - DVD and leashes
4.  Crystal jar with silver lid
5.  Oval brass picture frame

  1. Good thing you got rid of the dog training thing. Ava is sooooo trained. Best to Misty next time you see her (she really could be my best friend...except for BJ, natch).

  2. Oh, I agree. She is a perfect little lady, ready to travel the country in a Gypsy wagon. Where ARE you going to put her while I'm there?
