Day One Hundred Eight

I spent the day with good friends in a beautiful straw bale home they recently completed.  Their home makes the value of excellent design apparent; they took their time to get to know their site and thoughtfully make decisions.  In talking with them the process of going from what you think you want to what makes sense and you truly need was an evolution.  The resultant home is stunning, comfortable, inviting, efficient and very accurately reflects the personalities of the owners.  Wonderful!  Also had the chance to go over my gypsy wagon plans and I think it has moved into the final design phase and is only awaiting funding.  Very exciting to be close to the start of construction.  Decisions, decisions...should I have it powder coated raspberry or peacock blue?

These five things find themselves on their way out today:

1.  An extra Apple keyboard
2.  A little leather coin purse from Mexico
3.  A garlic press
4.  A tool for coring apples
5.  A tool for coring and cutting apples into wedges
